You can’t buy these legal awards and honors
Significantly, these are not honors and awards that attorneys can buy (there are enough fake vanity awards out there as it is). These are exclusive legal honors that are based on peer voting from attorneys and trial judges from around the state voting for who they believe are the very best lawyers in Michigan.
There is no personal injury law firm in Michigan that specializes in car crash injury and truck accident cases that has this many of its lawyers honored by inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2023 and Super Lawyers 2022.
On a personal note, this is the 15th straight year that I have been named to the list of Michigan Super Lawyers, and for the past 11 years I have been included in Super Lawyers’ lists of the Top 50 and Top 100 lawyers in Michigan, out of over 65,000 lawyers in the state.
What does it all mean?
These legal awards and legal honors are always nice, but what’s more important is what these awards and honors represent. In a legal profession consisting of too many injury lawyers and too many mills of ambulance chasers who have huge caseloads to “feed the beast” by supporting massive TV advertising and marketing campaigns, these legal honors and awards show a different way to practice law.
Our attorneys have fewer cases so we can invest more time into the cases of the people we help. We put clients first (not signing as many cases as we possibly can to pay for big television advertising budgets). This means our attorneys actually have time to return phone calls and can work harder on our cases, and the proof is in the pudding – bigger settlements and faster settlements for the clients we represent.
