Ruth: Wrongful Death Case
I was referred to the Gursten law firm through another attorney. After he found out that the case involved a little bit more than what his expertise were, that’s when he referred us to the Gursten law firm.
You know when you meet someone and you feel as if you’ve known this person all your life? That’s the feeling that I got from day one when I met him. He would even ask you questions just to test to see if you really understood what he was saying. Each time I called the office, I always got a prompt return call. Even though I met him through a tragedy, he was an excellent lawyer. He was very informative, very respectful, and very, very knowledgeable.
Steve, he went above and beyond trying to get everything that he possibly could, which he did achieve under the circumstances. My daughter was fatally injured in an auto accident. She was the passenger. She never regained consciousness. And that was Christmas Eve of 2005 and she passed away Christmas Day. The settlement of this case will benefit my grandchildren Miles and Madison, who Miles is nine and Madison is seven. So we have a college scholarship fund set up for them.
He would be the first that I would refer any of my friends to if the need arise, and if anyone in my family needed him, he would be the first person. Even if it wasn’t a case that he could handle, I would call him for advice because I would have full confidence in anyone that they would refer, that my friends or my relatives would get the same respect, they would get the same intelligent lawyers that I dealt with when I was coming to this law firm.
