Michigan Auto Law attorney Steve Gursten speaking to a full house at the American Association for Justice Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group Members Only Seminar in Washington, D.C., in December 2018.

On April 10-12, I’ll be the course advisor, moderator and speaker at the American Association for Justice’s “Best of the Best: Mastering the Fundamentals of a TBI case” legal seminar in Las Vegas.

The legal program focuses on strategies and tips that both experienced brain injury lawyers and attorneys who are new to TBI litigation can use.

As President of the AAJ’s Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group, I plan to use this seminar as part of my continuing effort to raise the bar and help educate personal injury lawyers so that we may better help and represent our clients who suffer brain injuries.

Specifically, my own presentation will focus on rebutting common defense lawyer attacks in traumatic brain injury cases and how lawyers can deal with the gaps of time in the diagnosis of a TBI.
