Michigan Auto Law’s Annual U of M/MSU rivalry for charity: Spartans battle Wolverines

The University of Michigan and Michigan State University will be playing Saturday in Ann Arbor.  The stakes are high.  Both teams are highly ranked nationally, College GameDay will be in Ann Arbor, and the game will draw national interest.

For our attorneys and office professionals, it’s also a healthy rivalry that always ends in a good cause.

Each year, our entire law office takes part in the rivalry.  Everyone is wearing their team’s colors. The rivalry ends with all of the attorneys of the losing team making a voluntary donation to the charity of the winner’s choice.

Anyone who’s been to my office knows I’m a huge Michigan fan. I go to every home game and I still do one big road trip a year to an away game with my college roommates and friends. Even though Michigan hasn’t been holding up its part of the rivalry in recent years, we always have good fun ribbing each other as our teams get ready to battle.

In previous years when Michigan won, attorney donations have been made to the University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital. This year, I hope to continue that wonderful tradition.
