Michigan Auto Law attorney talks MI lawyer solictation bills on Lansing Radio

The Tony Conley Morning Show on channel 1320 WILS delves into HB 4770-4771

A Michigan Auto Law attorney was interviewed on The Tony Conley Morning Show (channel 1320 WILS Lansing) after the Michigan House Committee passage of HB 4770-4771.

These house bills would limit access to car accident victims’ police reports by third parties for 30 days after the crash –  including overly aggressive injury attorneys who look up the accident reports and then call injury victims, mail them packages or even knock on their doors to drum up business.

Michigan Auto Law told Tony Conley that there is “almost no opposition to these bills.”

“There are law firms that like to target and send brochures so those things are waiting for people when they get home from the ER.”
