Car accident lawyer Steve Gursten tells newspaper that new auto law will let crash victims collect more fairly for pain and suffering lawsuits
The Detroit News features car accident lawyer Steve Gursten on McCormick v. Carrier, an Aug. 1, 2010 Michigan Supreme Court decision that changed Michigan’s auto law for the better.
In the news story, Gursten applauded the McCormick vs. Carrier opinion, saying the prior case law under Kreiner v. Fischer required injuries to be extreme in order for a plaintiff to
collect pain and suffering damages.
