No. 1: SAGINAW ST @ N HOMER ST, Lansing Township
This is the fourth year in a row that this intersection has landed in the #1 spot on our Ingham County’s Most Dangerous Intersections list.
Total crashes in 2024 were 66, which was up from 59 in 2023. In 2022, there were 57 car accidents at this interchange. In 2021, there were 85, and in 2020, there were only 41.
Injuries in 2024 went down to 4 from 12 in 2023. There were 15 injuries in 2022. In 2021, there were 26 injuries, and in 2020 there were 8.
No. 2: GRAND RIVER AVE @ N HOWARD ST, Lansing Township
In 2024, there were 51 total crashes at this interchange, up from 43 in 2023, 40 in 2022 and 40 in 201.
Injuries in 2024 were 11, which is down from 15 in 2023 and 14 in 2022. In 2021, there were 8 injuries.
