Topping the list of Grand Traverse County’s Most Dangerous intersections in 2024 is 3 Mile Rd at US 31 at in East Bay township. There were 34 total crashes here in 2024, the highest number in the last 5 years. In 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020, there were 24, 32, 25 and 19 collisions, respectively.
Unfortunately, injuries in 2024 were also the highest in the last 5 years. In 2024, there were 5 injuries, compared to 3 in 2023, 3 in 2022, 2 in 2021 and 3 injuries in 2020.
