One of our up-and-coming car accident lawyers was also included in the inaugural edition of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for his work in Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs. This new award from Best Lawyers in America highlights “the most promising younger lawyers in the U.S.” and recognizes them for their “outstanding professional excellence.”
Significantly, these are not awards that attorneys can buy or try to influence. These are honors based on peer selection – by asking other attorneys and judges in the state who they believe are the very best lawyers in Michigan.
Best Lawyers in America 2021 calls its list the “top legal talent” in the state, reflecting “the consensus opinion of leading lawyers” in Michigan about “professional abilities,” “quality of legal services” and “professional excellence.” As with Super Lawyers, no other law firm in Michigan that handles car crash injury and truck accident cases has this many lawyers named to The Best Lawyers in America 2021 as the very best in this area of Michigan personal injury law.
On a personal note, this is the 13th straight year that I have been named to the list of Michigan Super Lawyers and the 10th straight year that I have been included in Super Lawyers’ lists of the Top 50 or Top 100 lawyers in Michigan.
As I’ve said before, the legal awards and honors that our attorneys receive are always nice, but they are a lot more meaningful and rewarding because of what these awards and honors represent. In a legal profession consisting of too many injury lawyers and the ambulance chasers who practice law by volume to support their TV advertising, these honors and awards represent how we at Michigan Auto Law have chosen to practice law a different way.
