In a rear-end car crash that resulted in a wrongful death lawsuit being filed in Washtenaw County, Michigan, our attorneys secured a $5.1 million settlement. This was the largest reported wrongful death settlement in Washtenaw County and the largest reported motor vehicle wrongful death settlement in Michigan for an individual killed in a car accident in 2018. Our client suffered a traumatic brain injury, fractured ribs and a fractured collar bone and sternum after a semi-truck rear-ended her when she was stopped for a red light.
