The TAOS Injury Lawyers Annual Seminar collaborates on cutting-edge legal ideas

Attorney Steven Gursten

This week, I’ll be in Sedona, AZ for the annual TAOS Injury Lawyers seminar. All the attorneys will be sharing wisdom from years of trials. The goal of the seminar is for the lawyer members to round table, explore ideas and to truly help each other.

I’m involved in many legal associations. But the TAOS Injury Lawyers is different.

The three-day legal seminar brings together a prestigious group of some of the best trial lawyers in the nation, with one attorney representing each state. These outstanding injury attorneys have earned the highest peer recognition and professional achievements possible; most are presidents or past-presidents of state trial lawyer associations. The seminar is an annual meeting where we close the doors and work on sharing the best ideas of how we can better serve the people we represent. It’s a remarkable group of men and women, and I’m honored to be part of it as the attorney representing the state of Michigan.

Many people ask me about the name. The first meeting of this special group of trial lawyers took place in Taos, New Mexico, and the name stuck. We’ve called it the TAOS group ever since.

Our annual meeting in Sedona will continue to serve as a place for some of the most talented legal minds in the U.S. to share ideas and learn from one another, and to remain on the cutting edge of protecting the victims of corporate negligence.
