Our annual Michigan Auto Law charity day at Forgotten Harvest in Oak Park, MI

November 13, 2015 by Steven M. Gursten

Last week, our lawyers and legal professionals spent a day volunteering at the Forgotten Harvest food bank in Oak Park.

This is a yearly tradition we have, where we all day a paid day off of work for charity. Forgotten Harvest’s mission of feeding hungry families in metro Detroit is important to us.

We were able to package 3,156 pounds of food.

Here are some photos from our volunteer day:

Last year, we packaged more than 4,000 pounds of food — enough to feed 4,428 people.  We also make a financial contribution to Forgotten Harvest each year. One dollar provides five meals for your neighbors in need.

One in five people in Metro Detroit face hunger, according to Forgotten Harvest. For more information or to donate, visit the Forgotten Harvest website.
