I’m happy to say I’ve been voted Parliamentarian of the American Association for Justice Traumatic Brain Injury Group. I’ve served on the Executive Board of the TBI litigation group for several years before and it’s a nice honor from a group I care quite a bit about.
The public is just now starting to come to grips with the horror of brain injury, mostly through veterans who have returned home from Iraq and Afghanistan and now as sports and concussion injuries have been in the news.
The American Association for Justice is the nation’s largest association of advocates serving the needs of personal injury victims, with more than 50,000 lawyer members. The Traumatic Brain Injury Group is a special litigation group of attorneys throughout the United States that has special expertise in helping people injured with TBI.
It’s an honor to be helping other attorneys learn more about TBI so they can better represent their clients and protect people with brain injuries.
I’ve also been selected to serve on the Executive Board of the Melvin M. Belli Society.
The Melvin M. Belli Society is a legal group of trial lawyers from throughout the United States. The Belli Society presents hard-hitting, practical legal seminars from lawyers who are experts in the courtroom. The focus is on discussing new and innovative trial skills.
Our attorneys have been long-standing contributors to the AAJ and the Belli Society. I’ve given several legal presentations and seminars over the years for both organizations, and I enjoy teaching injury lawyers and helping prepare lawyers to better meet their clients’ needs.
The AAJ Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group and the Belli Society are comprised of some of the most elite attorneys in the country. I’m very honored to be a part of their leadership.
