Attorney charity face-off: Detroit Lions v. Bengals

October 20, 2013 by Steven M. Gursten

Last week, the Lions beat the Browns, and a donation was made to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

So, coming off another win last week, and two of the past three weeks, I’m pressing my Detroit Lions win streak and making a new charity bet.  This week it’s with my friend and respected Cincinatti attorney Anthony Castelli.  Anthony is founder of Anthony Castelli Accident & Injury Law, in Cincinnati, Ohio.   Anthony and I correspond frequently about issues such as using the medical literature in traumatic brain injury cases to defeat common fraudulent defenses, such as defense claims that someone cannot be seriously impaired by a concussion, and on various trucking litigation strategies.  We’ve had a chance to learn from each other and share information.

And now, Anthony gets to make a $100 donation when my Lions beat his Bengals. All in the name of charity, of course!

So, if the Lions beat the Bengals today, Anthony will make another charity donation to my choice, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.  If the Lions lose , I will donate to Anthony’s charity of choice, Cincinnati Shriners Burns Hospital.

GO LIONS!
