Emerging trends for personal injury lawyers

October 19, 2013 by Steven M. Gursten

Today I’ll be speaking to the TAOS Injury Lawyers  at the Sagamore Resort in New York. My topic is “Emerging Litigation Trends for Personal Injury Lawyers.”
This is an important topic.  And it will be a rewarding and challenging day presenting what I think will be the emerging trends for the legal profession, and what lawyers must do to win and succeed in the future.

I will be moderating the first two hours, and my guest speaker is Burkey Belser, who is widely considered the father of modern legal marketing.  I have heard Mr. Belser speak before, and he’s a visionary thinker.  His topic will be “Why Law Firms Succeed and Fail.”

The TAOS injury lawyers didn’t actually originate in Taos, New Mexico.  But the first meeting of this special group of trial lawyers took place in Taos, and the name stuck.  The TAOS injury Lawyers is group of some of the very best lawyers in the nation. These outstanding attorneys have earned the highest peer recognition and professional achievements possible. The group meets annually to work on how to  serve our clients better.  It is a remarkable group of men and women.

Our annual meeting in New York will continue to serve as a place for some of the most talented legal minds in the country to share ideas and learn from each other, and to remain on the cutting edge of protecting the victims of  corporate negligence that we’re entrusted with helping.
