Lawyers face off for charity round 3: Lions v. Browns

October 13, 2013 by Steven M. Gursten

lions v. brownsLast week a wounded Green Bay Packers team still unfortunately crushed my Detroit Lions, but there was still one ray of light that shone out of the gloom and darkness that is Lambeau Field.  A charity donation was made to Hunger Task Force, the charity of choice for my friend Randy Rozek, since I lost our charity bet.

This week there is hope for redemption for my Lions.  The Lions face the Cleveland Browns, so I called my friend and Cleveland attorney David Paris. David and I worked have together in the past on a very serious brain injury case for an Ohio woman who was injured in a serious automobile accident in Michigan. I know firsthand from working with David that he is an excellent attorney, and his reputation is deserved.  He is also the managing partner of Nurenberg Paris Injury Lawyers.

But David is a Cleveland Browns fan.  He actually believes that his Browns will beat the Lions today.

So today, if David Paris is right and the Browns win, I’ve agreed to make a donation on behalf of Michigan Auto Law to David’s charity of choice, Cleveland Youth Orchestra.  If (when) the Lions win, David will make a donation for charity to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Go Lions.
