I’ve been writing about the auto insurance companies that made our insurance lawyers’ list of the best insurance companies of 2013.
I’ve been an insurance attorney for nearly 20 years. This means I’ve worked with, and yes, sued nearly every auto insurance company in Michigan at one time or another.
As a lawyer, I see a side of the insurance industry that most people never see. I see how claims adjusters truly treat people after auto accidents, when they need help the most. Sometimes the reality is very different television commercials we see.
My goal is to give you the information you need to pick the best insurance company to protect you and your family… Before the auto accident.
Grange Insurance has been one of my personal favorites for years. Here’s why:
- Good claims adjusters: The claims adjusters generally seem to try to do the right thing.
- Few complaints: Grange Insurance Company of Michigan has received relatively few consumer complaints, according to the J.D. Power and Associates U.S. Auto Claims Satisfaction Study (2008-12).
- Good ratings: Grange has received favorable ratings for the past three years in the J.D. Power and Associates U.S. National Auto Insurance Study (2009-11).
