Auto accident attorney says latest Lansing and Ingham County, Michigan car accident numbers show a drop in crashes

Lansing, Michigan residents should be aware of newly released 2010 Traffic Crash Data from the Michigan Department of State Police and the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning:
2010 reported auto accidents in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan
Ingham County saw a very minor (1.2 percent) decrease in total traffic crashes, with a little over half of these auto accidents occurring on local roads.
The number people killed in Lansing car accidents dropped 7.7 percent but the number of people who sustained personal injury from auto accidents increased 3.9 percent.
Of the 8,395 crashes in Ingham County last year, 44 percent occurred in the city of Lansing, followed by East Lansing with 13 percent and Meridian Township with 11 percent of total crashes.
