Insurance lawyer writes letter in light of bills that would kill the No-Fault system, leave car accident victims without medical care and make insurance companies even richer

Crain’s Detroit Business published a letter to the editor from insurance lawyer Steven M. Gursten, who is head of Michigan Auto Law. Gursten urges readers to reconsider how important Michigan’s No-Fault benefits are, especially lifetime medical care, for catastrophically injured auto accident victims.

He begs the question, is destroying important protections for Michigan drivers really the best way to save on insurance? How about regulating auto insurance company profits?
