Truck accident attorney Steve Gursten on Due Process TV

January 15, 2010 by Steven M. Gursten

Sheds light on more than 1,000 Michigan trucking companies disobeying safety laws and causing preventable truck accidents; and loopholes in the No-Fault law

Michigan’s No-Fault law has never been more complicated or challenging. Due Process host Henry Baskin  interviews truck accident attorney Steve Gursten on the realities and ramifications of our insurance policies following auto and truck accidents. Steve stresses that there are more than 1,000 Michigan-based trucking companies that are disobeying federal safety regulations and causing preventable truck accidents.

He explains how the No-Fault law sometimes cannot proect victims of catastrophic accidents. Steve’s client, Cynthia Nunez is also featured on the legal talk show. Cynthia is the sister of Patrick Nunez, who was senselessly killed in a Detroit truck accident when a fully-loaded gravel hauler crashed into his vehicle. The truck driver admitted in a deposition that he had epilepsy and his truck had many safety violations.
