Lawyer Steven M. Gursten is listed in Michigan Lawyers Weekly for his top 2008 auto accident verdict, Broeren v. Bates. The case involved a pedestrian who was run over by his friend’s pickup truck and thrown head-first into a log cabin.

A Macomb County jury returned a $5.6 million verdict to the plaintiff, who sustained multiple personal injuries including traumatic brain injury. The award was the highest auto negligence verdict in all of Michigan for the year, according to the newspaper.
