Michigan No-Fault law should not be changed

Opinion editorial from insurance attorney featured in The Oakland Press

The Oakland Press featured a letter from Steven Gursten, insurance attorney and partner of Michigan Auto Law. Gursten wants Oakland County residents to know that Michigan drivers have the best No-Fault insurance benefits in the country, but some lawmakers want to dismantle that system – so insurance companies can reap even bigger profits.

Said Gursten, “Instead of taking a hard look at these record-breaking insurance company profits, these proposed bills would dismantle important protections for drivers, and shift the costs and burden to Medicaid and the taxpayers.”
