Michigan Auto Law received a $1.25 million settlement for our client, a man who was struck by a car as he was legally crossing the street on foot. Michigan Lawyers Weekly wrote about the case and the attorneys’ keys to winning.
The plaintiff sustained catastrophic injuries including a fractured skull, and leg and neck injuries. After the accident, he could no longer care for himself and live alone, and now lives as a resident in a brain injury facilitation center.
The defense contended that the plaintiff was mentally ill, and was trying to commit suicide when the accident occurred.
