Injury attorney discusses Michigan Supreme Court updates in the Michigan Association for Justice Journal
David E. Christensen, who is an injury attorney and partner of Michigan Auto Law, wrote an article for the Michigan Association for Justice fall journal. In his article, Christensen reviews important new procedural trial rules enacted by the Michigan Supreme Court.
He said that many of the rules are non-controversial and formalize common, long-standing practices. “But, the most significant rules affecting the lawyer’s ability to advocate effectively and fairly are not in practice anywhere else in the nation, and have literally undergone no meaningful testing.”
The Michigan Association for Justice is a group of more than 2,000 Michigan personal injury attorneys who protect plaintiff accident victims. Christensen is Chair of the Negligence Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
