Auto accident attorney is named in magazine for his record-breaking $2.5 million settlement
Crain’s Detroit Business has listed Michigan Auto Law’s $2.5 million personal injury settlement in its “Top verdicts and settlements list.” According to the magazine, Adeleye v. Michigan Department of Transportation, was the highest-reported auto accident settlement in Michigan for 2010 – that occurred in the Crain’s coverage area.
In the case, a chunk of concrete fell from the bottom of a Southfield Freeway bridge overpass, striking the plaintiff in the face while he was driving. His personal injuries included head injury, trigeminal neuralgia (a stabbing or electric shock like pain in parts of the face), broken facial bones and bowel injuries.
