Crain’s Detroit Business: Top 2010 auto accident settlement in Michigan

Auto accident attorney David E. Christensen is named in magazine for his record-breaking $2.5 million settlement

Crain’s Detroit Business has listed David E. Christensen‘s $2.5 million personal injury settlement in its “Top verdicts and settlements list.” According to the magazine, David’s case, Adeleye v. Michigan Department of Transportation, was the highest-reported auto accident settlement in Michigan for 2010 – that occurred in the Crain’s coverage area.

In the case, a chunk of concrete fell from the bottom of a Southfield Freeway bridge overpass, striking the plaintiff in the face while he was driving. His personal injuries included head injury, trigeminal neuralgia (a stabbing or electric-shock-like pain in parts of the face), broken facial bones and bowel injuries.

David is one of Michigan’s top auto accident attorneys, and partner of Michigan Auto Law.
