Robert M. Raitt
Bob, currently one of our Michigan auto accident attorneys, has received a jury verdict in a case in Wayne Circuit Court for over one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000). This included past, present, and future pain and suffering, medical expenses and interest. The defendant offered nothing prior to the jury trial. The jury verdict was obtained for a seventy two (72) year old woman who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis and walked with crutches since age eleven.
The case involved a claim against a door company, when sliding doors closed on her and caused her to fall to the ground as she was exiting the store. She suffered a back injury with a terrible recovery hampered by her pre-existing condition.
Bob graduated with honors from both the University of Michigan and Wayne State Law School. While in law school, Bob received a prestigious award for "Best Overall Performance as an Oralist and Brief Writer". He now serves on the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association Executive Board and has been a moderator and speaker at the Michigan State Bar Convention Seminar on preparation and procedures.

Bob strongly believes in helping accident victims obtain compensation for their injuries. He values the opportunity to aggressively litigate cases against the insurance companies on behalf of his clients. Bob has excelled and found praise, both in the courtroom and as he negotiates large settlements for his clients as a Michigan auto accident attorney.
