Does your commute take you through any of these Flint roads our attorneys identified as having the most car accidents in 2015?
Our attorneys worked with and would like to thank the Michigan State Police Traffic Crash Reporting Unit, who collects motor vehicle accident reports from local law enforcement to identify what Flint roads and intersections had the most automobile accidents in 2015. These include any intersection that has a traffic signal, four-way stop or roundabout.
Check out the list below to see if you drive through any of these areas, and please try to use extra caution if you do:

* Intersections include any accident that occurred within 250 feet of any intersection, including turnarounds and on/off ramps to highways.
Before we dive into some of the specific intersections, please keep in mind that the above list includes total motor vehicle crashes – meaning the combined total of property-damage-only, injury and fatal car crashes.
#1 – Corunna Road @ Ballenger Highway
The intersection in Flint with the most car accidents last year was a busy area near the I-75/I-69 interchange. This corner held the number one spot in 2014 and the number two spot in 2013 with a steady 25 to 26 wrecks annually. Use caution in the area.
#2/#3 – Court Street @ Dort Highway and Center Road
The next two intersections on the list are both situated just north of busy I-69 interchanges east of downtown. Both are tied with 26 crashes at each intersection, but the Dort Highway corner is considered more dangerous as 16 of those accidents resulted in injuries – the second highest of any intersection in the city. Use caution in this area as a large portion of total collisions resulting in injuries means a high risk area for Flint drivers.
