One my proudest accomplishments as an auto accident lawyer is the mentoring program I created at Michigan Auto Law, which has resulted in the law firm hiring three talented new attorneys. These attorneys were highly accomplished law students and Michigan Auto Law clerks, who demonstrated a commitment to helping people.

Plaintiff personal injury litigation hasn’t traditionally attracted the top law students. But I’m changing the perception that it’s somehow more noble or desirable to represent an insurance company or big corporation than it is to help honest, ordinary people. I believe that by taking truly talented and remarkable law students (all of the firm’s current clerks are also on Law Review and Moot Court) and molding them into personal injury attorneys who practice with dignity, respect, honesty and top-notch legal excellence, we’re leaving a lasting legacy and commitment to civil justice in the state of Michigan.
